Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented HR Generalist (3–5 years of experience) to support our growing multi-state healthcare organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building processes, and is comfortable balancing employee support with compliance and operational execution.
The HR Generalist will support core HR functions including employee relations, compliance, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, and manager coaching. This role partners closely with operational leaders across clinics and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Manager Support
Serve as a primary HR contact for managers and employees across multiple states.
Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance concerns, corrective actions, and policy interpretation.
Partner with leadership to ensure consistent and compliant application of policies.
Support investigations and documentation related to employee issues.
Onboarding & Offboarding
Manage full-cycle onboarding process including offer letters, background checks, new hire setup, and HRIS entry.
Ensure smooth and compliant offboarding processes including terminations, final pay compliance, and documentation.
Continuously improve onboarding experience for clinic and corporate employees.
Performance Management & Development
Support performance review cycles and goal-setting processes.
Coach managers on documentation and employee development best practices.
Assist in implementing scalable performance frameworks.
HR Operations & Process Improvement
Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS systems.
Identify opportunities to automate or streamline HR processes.
Assist in building SOPs, templates, and scalable HR workflows.
Contribute to building a structured, proactive HR function that supports rapid growth.
Requirements & Qualifications
3–5 years of progressive HR experience (healthcare or multi-state experience preferred)
Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
Experience supporting employee relations matters independently
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Experience working with HRIS systems (PEO experience preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
