At Allevio, we're on a mission to empower healing everywhere. We provide expert full-body wound care and podiatry services to patients at assisted living facilities throughout the Omaha/Lincoln area. We work with the geriatric population in caring for their specialized medical needs.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Facility Coordinator/Scribe to join our healthcare team. The Facility Coordinator/Scribe will be responsible for facilitating the full-cycle patient care experience for our assisted living partners. In this role, you will work collaboratively with our scheduling coordinator, regional marketer, and provider(s). The primary focus is developing and maintaining positive relationships with our facility partners ( staff and residents) and supporting providers in the delivery of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Scheduling Coordinator to prepare for facility visits, ensure proper documentation is collected and stored, and relay feedback for future visits.
  • Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations by taking detailed notes, confirming information with the patient, and assisting in the collection of consents and insurance information
  • Manage patient medical records and information with confidentiality and care.
  • Partner with assisted living facilities to ensure an excellent patient care experience.

Requirements & Qualifications

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA)

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
