Position Overview

Allevio Care Anywhere is seeking a facility scribe to support the delivery of exceptional patient care. We are looking for someone positive and professional who enjoys interacting with our patient base and has a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides a great patient experience.

  • Educates patients on visit process, reviewing consent and insurance questions.

  • Keeps organized records of documentation

  • Captures detailed notes during provider visit via verbal instruction.

  • Assists healthcare providers by preparing for patient visits, gathering necessary documents, and facilitating communication between patients and providers.

  • Ensure all documentation complies with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA standards, and maintain patient confidentiality.

  • Acts as a patient advocate assisting with needs that arise during their visit such as putting on/removing shoes and socks and queuing up the next patient to be seen.

  • Other duties and responsibilities that may arise.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Some exposure to medical field and/or senior citizen population (preferred but not required).

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

  • Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of medical terminology

  • Proficiency in computer skills

  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
