IT and Data Architecture Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically proficient IT and Data Architecture Manager to oversee the daily execution of Allevio’s enterprise data systems and architecture. Reporting to the Director of IT and Data Architecture, this role will manage the infrastructure, system integrations, and day-to-day operations that enable secure, scalable data flow across the business.

This is a hybrid technical/operational role, requiring the ability to manage complex systems while also supporting cross-functional execution across integration, EHR onboarding, finance, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Systems Management

· Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of Allevio’s Azure-based data architecture and enterprise systems

· Maintain integrations across EHRs, finance, patient services, and other departments

· Ensure system performance, uptime, and data accessibility meet operational needs

· Support development and optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations

· Implement and uphold data governance, access control, and security protocols

System Integration & Technical Execution

· Support the Director in designing scalable system architecture and driving implementation

· Coordinate the setup and configuration of new systems as Allevio expands through acquisition

· Manage user roles, access permissions, and system documentation

· Troubleshoot integration issues and work with vendors or internal partners to resolve

Practice Onboarding & EHR Transition Support

· Partner with the Integration team on onboarding new practices to Allevio’s tech stack

· Ensure timely and accurate EHR data migrations, user setups, and infrastructure readiness

· Serve as technical liaison for clinic transitions, ensuring continuity and alignment with internal systems

Team Management & Communication

· Manage and mentor a team of technical contributors (including international team members)

· Maintain a system for ticket intake, prioritization, and issue resolution

· Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment

Qualifications:

· 4-8 years of experience in IT systems, enterprise data architecture, or engineering

· Experience managing cloud-based infrastructure (Azure strongly preferred)

· Strong knowledge of system integrations, data pipelines, and data governance best practices

· Strong in SQL and at least one scripting language (e.g., Python)

· Experience managing or mentoring technical teams

· Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as AdvancedMD, eClinicalWorks, or similar is preferred

· Strong organizational and communication skills

· Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-changing environment
