Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced EHR Implementation Specialist to lead and support the successful rollout of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems across newly acquired practices. All Allevio practices transition to AdvancedMD (AMD), so familiarity with AMD or similar systems is a plus.
This role will support clinic staff and providers during each EHR transition, serving as a key partner to our Regional Managers, District Managers, and Doctor Services team. You’ll be responsible for training, go-live support, and helping practices navigate the change with confidence. Strong communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills are a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation & Go-Live Support
· Serve as the primary EHR super-user during practice transitions to AdvancedMD
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized implementation timelines
· Conduct in-person and remote training for clinic staff and providers
· Provide hands-on go-live support and post-transition troubleshooting
Training & Enablement
· Create and maintain training materials and reference guides tailored to each practice
· Deliver one-on-one or group training sessions for new hires and transitioning teams
· Serve as an internal knowledge hub for AdvancedMD workflows, shortcuts, and best practices
Stakeholder Support & Collaboration
· Act as a resource to Regional Managers and District Managers throughout each EHR transition
· Work closely with the Director of Doctor Services to coordinate implementation priorities
· Gather user feedback and escalate product or workflow issues to the appropriate internal team
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
· Track implementation progress and flag risks or delays
· Identify recurring issues or pain points and recommend workflow enhancements
· Stay current on product updates and evolving best practices within AdvancedMD
Qualifications:
· 3–5 years of experience in EHR implementation, clinic operations, or healthcare IT support
· Prior experience with AdvancedMD or a comparable EHR system strongly preferred
· Strong interpersonal, training, and communication skills
· Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
· Comfortable supporting users with varying levels of technical proficiency
· Ability to travel to clinics across the country when needed
