Position Overview

District Managers are responsible for overseeing the operational and clinical support functions across multiple clinics within their designated district. Serving as the critical link between clinics and management, they ensure that each clinic operates efficiently, adheres to organizational and industry standards, and consistently delivers high-quality patient care. This role requires strong leadership, strategic problem-solving, and the ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams to achieve optimal performance and patient outcomes. Additionally, District Managers play a vital role in promoting and developing Allevio’s core values within their teams, ensuring these values are reflected in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management:

  • Directly manage Clinic Leads to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and operational standards.

  • Conduct regular clinic visits to perform in-depth operational reviews, address challenges, and provide hands-on guidance to Clinic Leads.

  • Monitor clinic performance metrics, including financial health, patient satisfaction, and staff productivity.

  • Develop tailored improvement plans for underperforming clinics and ensure they meet key performance benchmarks.

  • Provide mentorship and ongoing training to Clinic Leads, supporting their professional growth and development.

Operational Efficiency and Collaboration:

  • Foster collaboration between clinics to share best practices, maintain operational consistency, and solve shared challenges.

  • Act as a liaison between clinics and the Patient Services Department to ensure seamless communication and resolve administrative bottlenecks.

  • Assist Clinic Leads in addressing complex staffing, operational, or procedural issues.

Staff Management and Support:

  • Oversee staff schedules, including time-off requests, timecards, and ensuring adequate staffing levels.

  • Lead the hiring, onboarding, and termination processes, and conduct necessary disciplinary actions.

  • Step in to cover for absent staff (e.g., Clinic Leads) to ensure continuity in operations and maintain patient and provider satisfaction.

Reporting and Strategic Guidance:

  • Provide detailed performance reports to Regional Managers, including recommendations for strategic adjustments.

  • Address escalated issues and conflicts within the district by coordinating with Regional Managers for resolution.

  • Regularly report on clinic-level performance and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Travel Expectations:

  • Travel Required: 75% (Frequent visits to clinics within the district).

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a medical clinic management role.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff, patients, and management.

  • Proficiency in managing large teams and overseeing multiple clinic operations.

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the district.
