Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant to support our clinical team in delivering exceptional patient care. This role involves both administrative and clinical responsibilities, including preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, managing patient records, and providing patient education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain clean, organized examination rooms

• Assist healthcare providers during patient assessments and procedures

• Document patient histories, vital signs, and medical information accurately

• Schedule appointments, arrange lab and radiology services, and manage patient flow

• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up instructions

• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and infection control protocols

• Support front office tasks as needed, including answering phones and verifying insurance

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program (required)

• Non-Certified Radiologic Technician (NCT) license preferred

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

• Prior experience in a clinical or ambulatory care setting a plus

• Proficient in medical terminology and basic clinical procedures

• Familiarity with EMR systems and computer applications
